Hello, and welcome to My Puppy Central, where we try to make training your new best friend as simple as “humanly” possible! (Get it? LOL)
In case someone hasn’t already told you yet, I will: OWNING A PUPPY IS NOT EASY!!! It takes a lot of hard work, patience, and self-discipline. Having said that, the rewards of all that hard work are indescribable as your little family member grows and matures into a beautiful beast of unconditional love and affection.
Our goal here is to try to simplify the journey and help ensure safety and security for our canine partners all across the globe.
WHY DID WE GET INTO THIS?
Meet Bailey. She is our Happy-Go-Lucky playmate that has blessed our family for the last year and a half. She knows nothing about life except to have fun and to show her love and affection for all of us. With that, we noticed she had an unusual ability to sense and react to depression and anger and other negative emotions associated with Depression, Anxiety, PTSD and other mental illness disorders. We decided it would be a great idea to get Bailey licensed and certified as a Therapy Dog. With that, we needed to hone in on her fundamental training we previously didn’t focus so much on, such as loose-leash basics, and her basic manners like not jumping up on people. As such, we decided we would train her ourselves, and share our experiences and research with the world to help others with their training. I guess you could call her our Muse.
HOW CAN WE HELP YOU?
Throughout the site you will find many helpful hints, tips and articles that ultimately will make your training experiences with your Pup both a fun and educational adventure for everyone involved. In addition, we aim to build a community of like-minded people to provide support and help each other in a self-sustaining way. Consider it our way of trying to bring the world closer together through the power of “Man’s Best Friend”.
HOW YOU CAN HELP US?
Please, if you have any feedback, comments, questions, or anything to add let us know so we can improve the site as best as possible. It is ultimately our goal to provide the best experience as possible to help not just Puppy Trainers, Owners, and Family, but also to help the Puppies themselves. After all, isn’t that what this is all about?
If you ever need a hand or have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out.
All the best,
Nathan Webster and Family
